Course Synopsis
This course covers the various aspects of sweep picking from 3 string cluters to full 6 string sweep arpeggios, from the traditional triadic arpeggio to extended 7th arpeggios and extensions. Also, this course explores sweep picking the pentatonic shapes and their corresponding cyclic variations used in today's music. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped with adequate knowledge and skills to begin transforming their playing by including this hidden knowledge that is 'sweep picking'.
Course Details
Course Duration: 8 weeks (fully online).
Course Start Date: 29th June 2026.
Lesson Duration: 75 minutes per lesson.
Lesson Slots: Every Tuesday 8pm (Weekday Cohort) or
Saturday 10am (Weekend Cohort)

Week 1: The Fundamentals and Primers of Sweep Picking
Week 2: Sweep Picking Scales*
Week 3: Turbo Triads*
Week 4: 7th Arpeggios*
Week 5: The Harmonic Engine*
Week 6: Extensions
Week 7: Rewiring Pentatonics for Sweep Picking*
Week 8: Cyclic Pentatonic Sweeps*
*Available as separate Deep Dive Courses for further study upon completion of the Masterclass.
Minimum Course Requirements?
To sign up for this course, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to play the major scales
- Ability to play the pentatonic scales
- Basic knowledge of chords
Additional Requirements:
- Submit Baseline Clip (2 minute video of your playing)
Note that this clip is not for admission purposes. It is mainly for us to evaluate your starting level to best develop an improvement plan.

As the course is fully online, you would need your own:
- Computer/laptop with inbuilt camera and microphone for Zoom.
- Internet Connection
- Electric Guitar and Amplifier/Interface
- Headphone or speakers
Course Fees
The course fee for this masterclass is SGD$497.
Upon completion of registration, you will be issued with an invoice. Payment of course fees is through Paynow.
